Dear BIBF Friends,
We are excited to start off our Boston Israel Business Forum 2010-2011 year with a strong October 27th event and invite you all to join BIBF or renew your membership.
As you know, the Boston Israel Business Forum was founded in 1998, and we have had nearly 80 programs during our history. We pride ourselves on having targeted events that encourage interactive discussions rather than large forum presentations. Yossi Vardi once said that he had learned more from the attendees at the BIBF than he provided in insight. This is the essence of the BIBF.
For the 2010-2011 programming year, we hope to be as innovative as our speakers. We are taking more advantage of social networking and creating a membership interface with even more programming information, past and present.
Join us on October 27th for our kickoff program at 7 pm at Foley Hoag with Allan Grafman, President of All Media Ventures, and an Operating Partner and Principal at Mercury Capital Partners. For more information, click here. Please sign up for membership today to enjoy the discounted price for admission. Sign up .
In addition to our event sponsorships, this year the BIBF is looking for corporate sponsors. We hope to build on past successes and expand sponsorship opportunities. Our organization can be so much more than it is, but that costs money. We are the only Israel business affiliated organization in Boston that receives no non-profit or government assistance. Please suggest firms that would be a good fit for sponsorship.
Over the years, we have changed registrations systems every few years as solutions become more user friendly and or less expensive. For this programming year, we are switching to use Constant Contact for our event and membership registration.
Also for the 2010-2011 programming year, we are excited to announce our new Executive Director, Nanette Fridman.
Nanette is currently the President of Fridman Strategies, a consulting firm for mission driven organizations, and formerly she was a lawyer at Mintz Levin. Her bio is on our website . She brings a wealth of experience and excitement for connecting people around Israel and innovation. She can be reached at or 617-504-4234. We welcome Nanette to the BIBF and thank Irina Siegel for her dedication and hard work.
We invite you to check out the rest of our website to join our and Groups Our hope is to provide updated information and create forums for discussion and exchange after our events and throughout the year.
We look forward to a terrific year and welcome your feedback and involvement. We are always looking for people who want to get involved at the committee level and for suggestions for future speakers so please be in touch.
Regards,
Dan Poscover
