Izhar Armony — Partner, Charles River Ventures

Mr. Armony received his MA in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Tel Aviv, MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, he is a partner at CRV. Prior to joining CRV in 1997, he was the VP of Marketing for Onyx Interactive, a computer-based training company in Israel. He was also a captain in the Israeli Army.

His track record includes working with such companies as, Virtusa, iPhrase, ThinQ, Yantra, Guardent Oberon, and iBasis. Some of Mr. Armony’s greatest interests include: mobility(software, services, media), open source and SaaS, and intellectual property.

In his spare time, Mr. Armony enjoys competing in long-range, off-road rally races in places like the Gobi desert and the Sahara.
